Solar powered pods create this beautiful wetlands resort
At first, they look like natural silhouettes set against the sky. Maybe they are rocks or trees. But as you get closer, you will find that they are elegant, simple buildings made to blend into the landscape. Here, you will be resorts celebrating nature.
The Wellington Marina were designed to be clad in timber. They have steeply pitched roofs that create a memorable impression. Located in South Australia, they’re designed to highlight the beauty and richness of the region.
It’s a simple, but stunning design. There are floor-to-ceiling windows that let in natural light and provide amazing views to the natural world. The resort is made of three eco-pods and three luxury pods.
These pods are designed with neutral color palettes to blend into the surrounding natural world. The pods are prefabricated and locally made in Adelaide. They have solar panels integrated right into the design and they’re designed for rainwater harvesting.
In other words, each one is a little eco-friendly retreat where you can not only escape to the natural world, you can honor it, too. These buildings are made with a low carbon footprint. Here, you can truly be part of nature. There is beauty in all directions.
