Forget houseplants. Modern green interior design has reached the next stage of evolution: vertical gardens. Italian company Benetti Home collaborated with Architect Steve Moore from Décorlia to work on this project for Planet Organic, the largest organic retailer in the United Kingdom.
Together, they created a vertical garden that is 100% natural zero-maintenance. You don’t have to do anything special to keep it thriving. It will keep adding fresh oxygen and natural beauty to any environment.

The vertical garden design is made with lichen, which is easy to manage and care for. It doesn’t attract dust or insects, and it fills any space with beauty.
Additionally, it is plastic-free. It’s made with panels of different sizes to fit spaces of different sizes. Customers at Planet Organic have noticed the garden. Pictures of them trended across social media after they debuted at several stores throughout London. Dozens and dozens more Planet Organic stores will be opening in upcoming years. And wherever there are new Planet Organic stores, there will be more maintenance-free vertical gardens.
Vertical gardens are becoming popular in home design. Soon, they may become more popular in retail environments, too. Green, living plants add a lot to the environment and they do a lot to improve health, mood and atmosphere. Maintenance-free vertical gardens like this one are an excellent way to integrate green into any interior space.
