Saint Marks Place, an upscale condominium project in the quintessential brownstone neighborhood of Boerum Hill, Brooklyn, caters to the natural world and the health of its tenants.

The development is located at 58 Saint Marks Place in Brooklyn, in an area on 4th Avenue that is pinned for a series of infrastructure developments like rezoning, beautification and new bike lanes. With this in mind, designers were conscious to make sure the building blended in with the surrounding brownstones.


Even for a home perched on a hillside overlooking Puget Sound in West Seattle, this project had lofty goals. The clients, both previous circus performers, tackled this project of daring feats with the help of SHED Architecture + Design. Now known as the Me-Kwa-Mooks Net-Zero house, the structure was a hodgepodge of prior renovations before the team converted it using cohesive and aesthetic design.

Designed by Formafatal studio, Gran Fierro is an Argentinian restaurant located in the center of Prague. Begun in 2019 and completed in 2020, the remodeled design features raw construction materials that accommodate pieces of bio charcoal made out of wood waste from the restaurant kitchen showcased inside a decorative wall.
